I have started this page to record some pictures and information about Beacon Fell. Beacon Fell is a fell located in the southern Lake District of England with an altitude of 255m/836ft. Alfred Wainwright included it in his 8th Pictorial Guide, "The Outlying Fells of Lakeland".
Beacon Tarn and Coniston Water were featured in the winning view (Wastwater) in the television series 'Britain's Favourite View' in September 2007.
